Itinerary

Day 1 : Hometown - Seattle - Vancouver

Welcome to Seattle! When you arrive in Seattle, our tour guides will be waiting for you in the baggage claim area to take you to our tour buses. The adventures begin immediately! After having lunch in Chinatown, we will visit some of the iconic landmarks of this Pacific Northwest city: the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and the Canal Lock. These landmarks give Seattle its unique skyline and are an inseparable part of the city’s history and culture. Passing through the University of Washington campus, we travel north to the beautiful city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Day 2 : Vancouver - Butchart Gardens - Victoria - Vancouver

In the morning we board the BC Ferries to Vancouver Island. While aboard ship, be sure to take note of the majestic islands of the gulf as we sail by—it’s a sight you will never forget. Our first stop in Victoria will be the world-renowned gardens of Butchart gardens. These gardens have been routinely ranked as one of the most stunning, must-visit gardens in the world by USA Today, National Geographic and CNN. Depending on the season of your visit different gardens will be in bloom, meaning that each visit to the gardens will be a unique experience. From here we then travel to Beacon Hill Park and Mile Zero—the official starting point of the Trans-Canada Highway that links Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean. After a brief visit to the Parliament Buildings, the seat of power in the province, we return to Vancouver in the evening.

Day 3 : Vancouver City Tour - Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge - Whistler - Vancouver

On our third day together we explore the city of glass that is Vancouver. So named for the glass buildings that mirror the ocean, mountains, and heavens, the city is a jewel like no other. From the iconic architecture of Gastown and its steam clock to Queen Elizabeth Park and the largest urban park in North America, Stanley Park, we show you some of the sites that make Vancouver a tourist heaven. After the delights of downtown, we travel to the North Shore of this city. Nestled in the mountains of Vancouver is Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge. The suspension bridge is a favorite of tourists and locals alike and is a breathtaking adventure for one simple reason: the bridge sways and bounces as people walk across it. From Lynn Valley we travel north to Whistler—the site of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games—and to explore the wonders of the resort.

Day 4 : Vancouver - Seattle - Hometown

On our last day together we say goodbye to the city of Vancouver in the morning. Returning south to Seattle, we pass through the border crossing and take you back to the city. Upon arrival in Seattle, it’s time for us to part ways. We hoped you enjoyed your visit of the Pacific Northwest.

Please schedule flight to depart from Seattle airport (SEA) after 5:30 pm.

Departure and Return info.:

  1. Please arrange your flights to arrive at Seattle airport (SEA) before 11:30 am, and meet your guide at Baggage Claim #5 at 11:30 am.
  2. If you'd like to join the tour locally, please meet the tour group at 600 5th Avenue South, Seattle at 1:00 pm (Uwajimaya Supermarket).
  3. After-cruise pick up available (Sunday Departure ONLY) for customers who wish to take the tour in connection with a cruise line. It's $10 per passenger with additional $2 tips for driver. Please arrive Pier 91 Baggage Claim at 10:00 am for Princess Grand Princess, Princess Golden Princess, Holland America Amsterdam, Holland America Westerdam, Carnival Miracle, Royal Caribbean Rhapsody of the Seas, and Celebrity Solstice cruises; Pier 66 Baggage Claim at 10:30 am for Celebrity Century, Norwegian Jewel, Norwegian Sun, Norwegian Pearl, and Oceania Regatta cruises.
  4. Both Piers and Seattle local boarding options, customer MUST leave your request at "Add Comments About Your Order" during check out process.
  5. Complimentary airport transfer service to YVR/SEA airport is available on the last day of the itinerary, please arrange your flight to depart from Seattle (SEA) after 5:30 pm; or to save time, depart from Vancouver (YVR) at anytime by hotel courtesy shuttle.

Price for Single Occupancy applies when one person stays in one standard hotel room.

Price for Double/Triple/Quadruple Occupancy applies when two/three/four people stay in one standard hotel room respectively. Thus, result in a lower per person price.

Maximum 4 guests in each hotel room (incl. kid and infant). Each standard hotel room comes with TWO full sizes or ONE queen size bed. Triple/Quadruple price does not guarantee a third/fourth bed in the room since each room is equipped with 2 beds. Roll-a-ways beds are regulations of each hotel; you are responsible for paying the additional cost for roll-a-way bed. Please check the availability at the time of check-in.

  1. Ground transportation via deluxe Air-Conditioned and Lavatory Equipped motorcoach with complimentary pick-up and drop-off at chosen location. To insure fewer passengers operation, 15 seats minibus may be substituted.
  2. Passenger insurance while on board motorcoach. Due to motorcoach insurance policy, passengers over 2 years of age must purchase ticket in order to occupy seats.

Price Excludes:

  1. All meals or drinks during the trip, but our tour escort will arrange for these.
  2. Personal room expenses such as hotel room services and meal, telephone calls, laundry services, on demand TV shows etc.
  3. Any private expenses such as airfare or any related transportation to the pick-up location, visa fee, travel document etc.
  4. Service fee for tour escort and driver: Minimum $8 per passenger per day.
  5. A mandatory entrance ticket package for all National Park Admissions, Butchart Gardens, BC Ferry and Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge must be paid on tour.
  6. Optional admission fees to all attractions are listed below. Prices are subject to change without prior notices.

Trip Reservation Process:

All tours are open for early booking. It is recommended that customers should book tour at least two weeks before departure date. Bus seats will be pre-assigned after payment is made based on a first come first served basis. The following flowchart summarized the booking process.

  1. After you submitting your reservation online, you will receive a Pre-Order email within a couple of hours.
  2. Within 2 business days, we will send you a confirmation email to confirm your reservation of the trip. In this email, you could find the detailed boarding time and location of the trip, contact information of local service provider. Please print out this email with E-TICKET number as the boarding pass for the trip. Also, you can login to our website http://www.tripedition.com/index.php?route=account/login to check the status of your order.
  3. At the departure date, simply print out the E-TICKET if you have not already done so, and present it with your valid photo ID. Please note that this E-TICKET is the only proof of your purchase of the tour.
  4. Please make sure you have received our Final Confirmation Letter email with your E-ticket number before booking air tickets, extended hotel stays and etc., if applicable.

 

 

Your reservation is always subject to confirmation by email normally within two business days. Promotional offers such as BUY 2 GET 1 FREE and BUY 2 GET 2 FREE are provided and confirmed only on an availability basis. In the rare events (such as booking ONE day prior to the departure day), your reservation can not be confirmed by the service provider, a full refund will be credited back to your account.

The order of day-to-day itinerary is adjustable depending on tour start date of the week. For the detailed arrangement, please email or call the local service provider prior to departure date to re-confirm. Their contact info will be listed in your final confirmation email.

We reserve the right to change the hotel to another of equal or better standard than the hotel mentioned in the itineraries.

Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours may be combined to ensure fewer passengers operation.

We do not recommend infants younger than 2 years of age to join the tours, since our tour guides are not specially trained to provide service to these types of passengers and cannot be responsible for their well being.

 

 


Boarding Tips and Travel Documents:

All passengers should arrive at the boarding location at LEAST 15 min. prior to the departure time.

All passengers must show E-TICKET (the boarding pass) for boarding.

Passengers are held solely responsible for their own valid travel documents. (Valid visa for countries needed). Absolutely NO boarding without proper travel documents. All US citizens traveling to Canada will need a passport. Permanent resident requires present of green card. Additional visa requirements and exemptions for visitors to Canada please visit http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp.

 

 

  1. Canadian visa is not required for U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident. However, please bring your Photo I.D and proof of citizenship (U.S. birth certificate or naturalization certificate), or green card for re-entry to the United States. A passport for US citizens is highly recommended. Children, ages 18 and under only require a birth certificate.
  2. If you are NOT an American citizen, please bring your passport, I-94 card, I-20 form for international student. Due to increased security at the border, additional paperwork is required for visitors from some countries. This only applies to a very few countries. Please check with the local immigration office to ensure whether your status allows multiple-entry into the U.S. This will avoid unnecessary delays. Should any person be detained upon re-entry to the U.S., we will be unable to wait while the additional paperwork is filed. Additional charges may apply for transportation.
  3. Countries and territories whose citizens require visas in order to enter Canada as visitors, please check the following link for updates on entry requirements: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp. Some nationalities may need multiple entry visa's to the U.S.A. and a Canadian visa.

Travel Insurance:

We are not responsible for any occur on or during the tour. It is optional that passengers to purchase travel insurance. By accepting our policy, passenger should agree that we shall hold no responsibilities includes but not limited to the following unforeseeable events such as weather, accident, bus break down, sickness, theft, itinerary changes, delays or cancellation. We are strongly advising you to purchase travel insurance before departure to insure compensations for the unexpected causes above. Such travel insurance can be purchased through third party insurance suppliers.

 

 


Language:

All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour guides and/or drivers guide. For driver guide tour, the language will be limited to English/Chinese.

Frequently Asked Questions


Will the bus wait for me if I’m late?

Sorry. Tour buses will depart on time. Please be understandable this is a group tour, we have to satisfy the entire group for a smooth operation of the tour. We recommend you arrive at the departure location 15-30 minutes prior the depart time.


Is the drop-off location the same as boarding location for all Tripedition tours?

The tours usually pick-up and drop-off at the same locations unless otherwise stated in the tour Departure and Return Info page.


What happens if I forgot to bring proper travel documents on the boarding day (Passport, Green card, Visa, etc.)?

You can NOT board the bus. The tour guide shall check anyone's proper travel documents prior boarding. Bear in mind, when you can NOT board for this reason, this also triggers the reschedule fee or cancellation penalty. Please refer to the Special Notes section of your booked tour for proper travel documents.


How many pieces of baggage am I allowed to bring?

We recommend two pieces of standard sized baggage per passenger due to the load limitation of the motorcoach. If the tour is operated by 14 seats minibus, only ONE piece per passenger is allowed.


Is there a restroom on the bus?

Yes, only for motorcoach buses. However, we recommend the use of lavatory when there is a personal emergency. All our local service providers, try to maintain a clean environment on the bus, therefore, the bus will make rest stops along the way (every 2-3 hours) at highway service area. If you need to use the lavatory on the way, you may ask the tour guide to open it for your use.


What can we do if we choose not to go on the optional activities?

Optional activities are booked through the tour guide while you are on the tour. If you do not wish to participate in certain tour activities, you can hang around the tourist attraction as you like to. The tour guide will inform guests on the return time to the tour bus before he/she dismisses the group.


We are vegetarians, should I join the tour?

Definitely Yes. Meal breaks will be arranged at hotels, various ethnic restaurants, food courts, and fast food restaurants. There should be vegetarian food for you to choose from the menus.
