Day 2 : New York City Tour

You have one day to see the Big Apple, New York City, but where do you go? Fortunately for you our one day tour of New York will be an experience you won’t forget. We begin our bus tour at the Wall Street - heart of the financial district of New York. Wall Street is synonymous with money and is home to the New York Stock Exchange.

From there we will visit Empire State Building. The famous Empire State building towers over the city at an astonishing 102 stories and was the world’s tallest building for 40 years. Also we will pass by some of the most famous buildings in New York - the United Nations Building, Freedom Tower and the Rockefeller Center. The UN building has served as the official headquarters of the United Nations since 1952. Ground Zero, memorial to commemorate 9/11 disaster is right next to the newly built skyscraper Freedom Tower. Named for John D. Rockefeller, the Rockefeller Center is a national historical landmark and home to Radio City Hall the 70 floor “30 Rock” building.

Of course, no visit to New York would be complete without a glimpse of its most iconic landmark, so our tour hops aboard the Statue of Liberty Cruise next for a chance to glimpse the cityscape from the water. From there we visit the USS Intrepid which houses the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum. Formerly a World War II aircraft carrier, the museum houses famous artifacts of maritime, air and space history including the Space Shuttle Enterprise.

Our tour then travels to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, where you can take pictures with all kinds of celebrities’ sculptures. Right next to the Wax Museum is the Times Square. This brilliantly lit hub is known as the “Crossroads of the World” and is a prominent part of the Broadway theater district. Join in the spectacle as our tour takes in the magic of one of the world’s most visited attraction.

Of course, we will not miss the famous Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is the largest art museum in the United States with collections of more than 2 million works of art. Experience a New York City bus tour from Tripedition Today!

Standard Hotel (upscale 4 star): Hyatt Regency Penn's Landing, Wyndham Garden Hotel or similar

Day 3 : Princeton University - Philadelphia - Lancaster - Washington D.C.

In the morning, we will visit the prestigious Princeton University in New Jersey. Princeton is an Ivy League school, and one of the nine Colonial Colleges founded before the American Revolution. Seeing the campus where some of the most internationally significant figures studied is an opportunity not to be missed. The bus will then take you to Philadelphia where you will visit Independence Hall, one of the city’s many distinguished symbols of freedom, and the very spot where some of the most significant moments in America’s history have occurred. You will also see the Liberty Bell, something that has been an iconic symbol of American Independence for over 200 years. After lunch, we will stop at Lancaster where you will be able to explore Amish lifestyle on a Amish Village tour. In the evening, the bus tour will then take you to our nation’s capital, Washington D.C.

Standard Hotel (2 star to 3 star): Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn, Days Inn or similar

Day 4 : Washington D.C. - New York City - Hometown

Surely, the Capitol Hill is not merely a meeting place for the US Congress. How does this world's political center look inside? Follow our tour guide for some truly valuable experience. The National Mall provides a monumental, dignified, and symbolic setting for the governmentalstructures, museums and national memorials as first delineated by the L'Enfant plan. With the exception of the National Gallery of Art, all of the museums on the National Mall are part of the Smithsonian Institution, established in 1846 "for the increase and diffusionof knowledge". For example, the National Air and Space Museum of the Smithsonian Institution holds the largest collection of historic aircraft and spacecraft in the world in 161,145 square feet of exhibition floor space. Passengers will be transferred to New York area airports or Washington DCA airport.

**Note: Due to traffic condition, we will either visit Madame Tussauds Wax Museum at New York Times Square or the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum at DC.
