Itinerary

Day 1 : New York City

You have one day to see the Big Apple, New York City, but where do you go? Fortunately for you our one day tour of New York will be an experience you won’t forget. We begin our bus tour at the Wall Street - heart of the financial district of New York. Wall Street is synonymous with money and is home to the New York Stock Exchange.

From there we will visit Empire State Building. The famous Empire State building towers over the city at an astonishing 102 stories and was the world’s tallest building for 40 years. Also we will pass by some of the most famous buildings in New York - the United Nations Building, Freedom Tower and the Rockefeller Center. The UN building has served as the official headquarters of the United Nations since 1952. Ground Zero, memorial to commemorate 9/11 disaster is right next to the newly built skyscraper Freedom Tower. Named for John D. Rockefeller, the Rockefeller Center is a national historical landmark and home to Radio City Hall the 70 floor “30 Rock” building.

Of course, no visit to New York would be complete without a glimpse of its most iconic landmark, so our tour hops aboard the Statue of Liberty Cruise next for a chance to glimpse the cityscape from the water. From there we visit the USS Intrepid which houses the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum. Formerly a World War II aircraft carrier, the museum houses famous artifacts of maritime, air and space history including the Space Shuttle Enterprise.

Our tour then travels to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, where you can take pictures with all kinds of celebrities’ sculptures. Right next to the Wax Museum is the Times Square. This brilliantly lit hub is known as the “Crossroads of the World” and is a prominent part of the Broadway theater district. Join in the spectacle as our tour takes in the magic of one of the world’s most visited attraction.

Of course, we will not miss the famous Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is the largest art museum in the United States with collections of more than 2 million works of art. Experience a New York City bus tour from Tripedition Today!

Standard Hotel (2 star to 3 star): Edison Hotel, Holiday Inn NJ or similar

Day 2 : Philadelphia - Washington DC.

Day 2 of our tour begins in Philadelphia where we will visit Independence Hall, the place where George Washington was appointed commander in chief of the continental army. At this site the Declaration of Independence was drafted, and it was here that the Constitution was written. You will also have the opportunity to see the famous Liberty Bell, a symbol synonymous to freedom in this country. Next we travel to the heart of the United States: Washington D.C. You’ll be able to cruise the Potomac River aboard the Potomac River Cruise and see some of the city’s most historic monuments. After the cruise you’ll have the chance to see some of the monuments up close for yourself. We’ll visit the Lincoln Memorial which houses a 20 foot tall seated statue of the 16th president, and we’ll visit the Jefferson Memorial that is dedicated to the founding father and drafter of the Declaration of Independence. No visit to D.C. is complete without seeing the White house and the Capitol building. You will be able to view these historic buildings before our tour visits the Vietnam Veteran Memorial and the Korean War Memorial. These monuments honor those that gave their lives in these conflicts to secure freedoms we enjoy today. Before we leave D.C. we will visit the National Air and Space Museum of the Smithsonian Institution, home of many artifacts of aerospace technology including the Apollo 11 module that went to the moon.

Standard Hotel (2 star to 3 star): Quality Inn, Days Inn, Sleep Inn or similar

Day 3 : D.C. - Corning Glass Center - Niagara Falls

In the morning the bus tour will depart from Washington D.C. and travel to Corning, New York to visit the Corning Museum of Glass which is the largest glass museum in the world with more than 45,000 objects from over 3,500 years of glassmaking history. You will also see live, narrated glassmaking demonstrations. Afterwards the bus tour will take you to Niagara Falls. The Falls is collectively made from the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and the Canadian Horseshoe Falls and are famous for their beauty and as a valuable source of hydroelectric power. A historical boat ride aboard the world famous Maid of the Mist offers up close and exciting views of the Falls. We will also visit the IMAX Niagara Falls. Home to “The Falls Movie: Legends of Adventure”, the IMAX provides a glimpse into the stories of the courageous few who dared to climb into a barrel and tumble down the powerful Falls. Next we are going to visit the Whirlpool State Park, which is a 125-foot deep whirlpool under the Niagara River. If time is available we will go to the Old Fort Niagara, located at the mouth of the Niagara River. Be sure to catch the short guided tour that explains a lot in a short time. The fact that the old French Castle from 1726 is still standing today is amazing. The history and importance of this fort is a compelling reason to preserve it and the artifacts in the museum were spectacular. If you're a history buff or just like tours of this kind you have to see this. In the evening, we will join the Native Indian show, The Spirit of the Mist. The show presented by the World Class Native Spirit Dancers. Come together as they take you on a journey of beautiful dance, traditional music and stories passed through the generations. Experience a full sensory show through exciting music, captivating dancing, exceptional costumes and genuine native singing. The show captures audiences of all ages! If time permits, we will head to enjoy the colorful and wonderful Niagara Falls Illumination on the Goat Island.

Among them is the oldest university Harvard. How did get its name? Is there a real Mr. Harvard? Together with MIT, it has made the town Cambridge even more famous than its counterpart in UK! Passing by the Trinity Church, Public Library, Prudential Tower, and Boston Common, it comes time for dinner. Remember: our cultural capital is also famous for its fresh lobsters!
