Day 1 : Pocono Mountain Skiing Day

Our first day kick off with famous Pocono Mountain Skiing trip. Modest mountains. Deep snow. Short lines. Fast lifts. Impeccably groomed trails. Sounds like a dream come true? It’s time to stop dreaming, shift your winter into high gear and plan your incredible Pocono skiing vacation where anyone can find their little place of heaven. Whether you take in the beauty from the back of a horse-drawn sleigh or set out on snowshoes, there are many ways to enjoy a Pocono Mountains winter wonderland. You can ski and ride on over 35 slopes and trails, from steep expert slopes with challenging moguls, moderate trails for intermediates to cruise and gentle confidence building beginner hills for learning. With a history dating back to 1946 when the Pocono Mountains welcomed the first commercial ski area in Pennsylvania and perfected the art of snowmaking, the Poconos have become a bonafide ski destination. Today, the Poconos have it all, whether it be the corduroy groomed beginner slopes or the double black diamonds and terrain parks to test your skills. Get out and experience the exhilaration when your skis start sliding down a Pocono slope.

**Note: The skiing facility and equipment rental fees are NOT included in the tour package;

**Note: If weather does not allow safe skiing, today’s itinerary may be replaced as Woodbury outlet shopping, Atlantic City Casino or New York City tour on your own pace.

Day 2 : New York City Tour

You have one day to see the Big Apple, New York City, but where do you go? Fortunately for you our one day tour of New York will be an experience you won’t forget. We begin our bus tour at the Wall Street - heart of the financial district of New York. Wall Street is synonymous with money and is home to the New York Stock Exchange.

From there we will visit Empire State Building. The famous Empire State building towers over the city at an astonishing 102 stories and was the world’s tallest building for 40 years. Also we will pass by some of the most famous buildings in New York - the United Nations Building, Freedom Tower and the Rockefeller Center. The UN building has served as the official headquarters of the United Nations since 1952. Ground Zero, memorial to commemorate 9/11 disaster is right next to the newly built skyscraper Freedom Tower. Named for John D. Rockefeller, the Rockefeller Center is a national historical landmark and home to Radio City Hall the 70 floor “30 Rock” building.

Of course, no visit to New York would be complete without a glimpse of its most iconic landmark, so our tour hops aboard the Statue of Liberty Cruise next for a chance to glimpse the cityscape from the water. From there we visit the USS Intrepid which houses the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum. Formerly a World War II aircraft carrier, the museum houses famous artifacts of maritime, air and space history including the Space Shuttle Enterprise.

Our tour then travels to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, where you can take pictures with all kinds of celebrities’ sculptures. Right next to the Wax Museum is the Times Square. This brilliantly lit hub is known as the “Crossroads of the World” and is a prominent part of the Broadway theater district. Join in the spectacle as our tour takes in the magic of one of the world’s most visited attraction.

Of course, we will not miss the famous Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is the largest art museum in the United States with collections of more than 2 million works of art. Experience a New York City bus tour from Tripedition Today!
