Cancellation and Refund

 

Your purchase will initiate reservation process regardless methods of payment. The cancellation fee will take into account once you submit your reservation. The fees result from our travel and hotel provider covering penalties and fees incurred by cancelling confirmed and pending bookings. All cancellation and amendment notices must be made in writing directly to customerservice@tripedition.com or by regular US mail. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. We recommend each customer to fully evaluate our cancellation and refund policy and also consider purchasing a Travel Insurance.

The following cancellation fee will apply for bus tour regardless of trip duration:

Date of notice received before departure day Cancellation penalties
29 or more days prior to departure 10% of total price
15-28 days prior to departure 25% of total price
8-14 days prior to departure 50% of total price
7 days prior to departure 100% of total price

*Total price does not include discounts, promotions, or special incentives.

  • NO add-on handling fee or processing fee in addition to above cancellation penalties.
  • If your vacation package includes flight ticket, the flight ticket is NOT refundable. Your cancellation penality is total tour fare less the cost of flight ticket, then subject to the above penality percentage.
  • NO refund shall be given for any portions of the tour unused by the customer after departure of the tour regardless of any possible reasons.
  • All cancellations must be made directly with Tripedition, NOT with the service providers.
  • No refund for NO show on the date of departure.
  • When cancelling any booking you will be confirmed via email of the total cancellation fees and amount to be refunded. If you do not receive this email from us within 3 business days, please contact us ASAP.
  • Any refunds due will be mailed by US check. If payment is made by credit card, your credit card will be refunded. Refunds will be processed within 7 business days after receiving of your cancellation notices.
  • Tripedition reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour/vacation package departure for any reason, including insufficient demand. If a tour/vacation package is cancelled prior to departure, Tripedition only responsibility will be to refund the full amount received for the reservation. Tripedition will try to rebook the same vacation with a different departure date, or a similar vacation. However, please keep in mind that should this happen, it would be under very special and rare circumstances, because we will try our best to accommodate our customers travel needs.
  • In the rare events, such as booking ONE day prior the departure day, your reservation can not be confirmed by the service provider, your refund will be credited back to your original form of payment without a fee.
  • Tripedition is not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to cancellations, whether by the Customer or by Tripedition.

Please provide the following information when request for a cancellation:

  • E-TICKET Number
  • Your Full Name
  • Tour Name/Tour Code
  • Departure Date
  • Total Amount of the Transaction
  • A brief description for the reason of cancellation
  • Your email address if cancellation request is not submitted by US mail

Change of an Existing Reservation

A fee of $30 per tour/vacation package will be charged for any alteration or revision made to a reservation. The changes including, but not limited to, the following: change of departure date and location, amendment of tour/vacation package, add traveler(s) to an existing reservation, and etc. To remove a traveler from an existing reservation, or postpone traveling date within 14 days of departure, the regular Cancellation and Refund Policy will take into effect. Date Changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. We cannot guarantee any changes can be made. If not, then proceed to the standard cancellation and refund policy. We recommend your submit your Change of an Existing Reservation request by email (customerservice@tripedition.com) in order to expedite the rescheduling process.
