Day 1 : New York City - Philadelphia - Washington DC

Our tour starts to the city of brotherly love Philadelphia. We visit the historic Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell - the iconic symbol of American independence. It was in this historic city that George Washington became the commander in chief of the Continental Army. It was here that the country boldly declared their independence in 1776, and it was here where the veterans of the revolution drafted the constitution in 1787. Then, we continue to the heart of our great nation next: Washington D.C. From there you will take the D.C. Harbor Cruise on Potomac River and see the Department of National Defense (Pentagon), Titanic Memorial, National War College. Next take in the depth of America’s history as we tour some of the city’s most historic monuments. The Lincoln Memorial, a Greek temple styled building, was built to honor the 16th president, and houses a 20 foot tall seated statue of Abraham Lincoln. Etched into the walls are inscriptions of two of his most famous addresses to the country - The Gettysburg Address and the Second Inaugural Address. Our tour also includes visits to the Vietnam Veteran Memorial and the Korean War Memorial. Constructed to honor the soldiers who gave their lives in these conflicts, these memorials also give homage to those missing in action. Along the banks of the Potomac River sits the Jefferson Memorial dedicated to the famous founding father and third president of the United States. Take in the spirit of freedom in this tribute to the drafter of the Declaration of Independence. What visit to D.C. would be complete without seeing the Capitol building and the White House, the legal and executive cores of the country? As our tour visits D.C. You will be able to view the official residence workplace of the President and the meeting place of the United States Congress. We will next visit the world famous Madame Tussauds Presidential Wax Museum to meet all 44 presidents of our nation.
