You may watch the IMAX movie of the history of Grand Canyon at the entrance at your own cost. Then, go to the largest view point near visitor center - Mather Point. If God is the creator of the Grand Canyon, Colorado River is an artist who has carved the Grand Canyon. Despite the passion in summer and the cold in winter, the river and valley’s history of romance has been going on for six hundred million years long. Sunshine and clouds are always alternating controls over the canyon, adding a dash of style to the magnificent scenic picture. Grand Canyon South Rim is part of the national park system. In the next three days, depending on your interest you can choose SFO-A or SFO-B itinerary:

San Francisco A Route: Los Angeles - Santa Barbara - Solvang - Silicon Valley - Bay Area
Our first stop of the day is Santa Barbara, California. Just 90 miles north of Los Angeles, this town is known as the “American Riviera” because of its natural beauty, beaches, and gourmet cuisine. As a getaway for Southern Californians for decades, Santa Barbara tempts visitors with its Spanish Colonial architecture and reputation for being a pedestrian-friendly town with something for everyone. Whether you love the outdoors, the arts, or shopping and fine dining, Santa Barbara has it all. From the casual elegance of Santa Barbara, we travel along the Pacific Coast Highway north to Solvang. You won’t believe you’re in American when you arrive in this town. Known by the Dutch immigrants as the “sunny field,” this little town is populated with windmills and European-styled buildings that give the town a distinctly old-world feel. In fact, thanks to the town’s cafes that serve European coffee and Danish pastries, you’d swear that you were in a different country. Afterwards we pass the Mecca of the digital world - Silicon Valley, the home of thousands of tech startups and the world’s tech giants. In the evening we will arrive in Bay Area hotel.

San Francisco B Route: Los Angeles - Santa Barbara - 17 Mile Drive - Bay Area
From Los Angeles our first stop is in Santa Barbara - the “American Riviera.” Just 90 miles north of Los Angeles, this town has tempted southern Californians for decades. Santa Barbara is known for its natural beauty, stunning beaches, vineyards and its fine dining. This town has thrived on its reputation for being a haven for the young, intelligent and hip of America, drawing in visitors to this city of Spanish Colonial architecture. Whether it’s the beaches that inspire surfers and sunbathers, the marine wildlife, or the succulent dining, Santa Barbara is a city of charm for everyone. Next we travel to the Monterey Peninsula and take in the scenery of the California coast. Along the shores you may see some of the local marine life - sea lions, and seals sunning themselves on the rocks. From here we begin the famous 17 mile drive along the coastline. This drive is known for passing through the world class golf courses of Pebble Beach and the multi-million dollar mansions overlooking the gorgeous coastline. After a visit to the iconic Lone Pine in the 17 mile drive, we continue to our hotel in Bay Area.

Standard Hotel (2 star to 3 star): Red Lion Oakland, Holiday Inn San Jose, Crowne Plaza Union City, Courtyard Fremont or similar

Yosemite is a towering force of water and granite, known for its mighty waterfalls, ancient trees, and huge cliffs. The bio- and geodiversified Yosemite is a region of deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient trees and its sheer granite mountains and glaciers. You’ll be in awe of the giant sequoias covering the 1700 square miles of the park. The pristine quality of the park is what draws visitors every year, but what makes these visitors stay are the natural landmarks like El Captain, the tallest waterfall in America - Yosemite Falls, the Half Dome at the Tunnel viewpoint and Glacier Point.
