Day 2 : Vancouver City Tour - Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge - Whistler - Vancouver

Today we embark on a quick tour of some of the many delights that the city of Vancouver has to offer before taking you on to Whistler—the world renowned winter resort and the former site of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. While in the city, we lead you through Gastown and its European architecture, and visit the steam clock, one of the world’s last remaining steam clocks. While here we visit Chinatown, the Queen Elizabeth Park, and finally Stanley Park. As a park Stanley Park is the largest of its kind, an urban park without any equal. The 400 hectare West Coast rainforest is just on the edge of downtown Vancouver and features hundreds of trails, thousands of wildlife, and many, many adventures to explore. We next take you up to Lynn Valley to visit the Lynn Canyon Suspension bridge. Loved by locals and tourists alike, the suspension bridge is an exhilarating experience with every step making the bridge sway and bounce. After the bridge we drive north to Whistler where we will spend the remainder of the day before returning back to Vancouver in the evening.

Standard Hotel (2 star to 3 star): Coast Vancouver Airport Hotel or similar

Day 3 : Vancouver - Hope - Kamloops - Glacier National Park - Golden

Day three of our adventure takes us from Vancouver to the eastern region of the province, passing through the towns of Hope and Kamloops. While the sleepy town of hope is known for its beautiful scenery and as the setting for movies, Kamloops is a bustling and growing city in the interior of the province—a hub for tourists and residents alike—and is known as a major grower of ginseng. After lunch, we visit the site of the “Last Spike,” the site of the symbolic and literal final spike that completed the Canadian Pacific Railway. The completion of the railway was an important moment in Canadian history, and you’ll be able to learn of how the railway connected eastern and western Canada together while at the site. While travelling on to Glacier National Park we will pass through the Three Valley Lake recreational area, and experience the infamously steep Roger’s Pass—once a railway crossing for the CPR and now a key gateway for the Trans-Canada Highway. After a day of travelling we will spend the night in Golden.

Standard Hotel (2 star to 3 star): Ponderosa Inn Golden or similar

Day 4 : Natural Bridge - Moraine Lake - Lake Louise - Bow Falls

We start our day at the Natural Bridge of Yoho National Park. A rock formation that bridges the flow of the King Horse River, this landmark offers visitors stunning views of water pools and the effect of erosion on the scenic landscape. Next on our trip we head back to Banff and spend the rest of the day by Lake Louise, one of the most iconic places of the Canadian Rockies. This stunning lake and the surrounding hamlet is home to thousands of visitors every year. While at the lake you will have the opportunity to ride the cable car above the lake. From the placid shores of Lake Louise, we next travel to Moraine Lake. Once used as an image on the back of the Canadian 20 dollar bill, Lake Moraine is also commonly used as a site of beautiful imagery in many travel magazines and computer wallpaper schemes. We conclude our day with a visit to Bow Falls, a major waterfall of the Bow River in Banff National Park and is representative of just one of the many beautiful wonders to be found in the Rockies.

Standard Hotel (2 star to 3 star): The Wind Tower Lodge and Suite or similar

Day 5 : Peyto Lake - Columbia Ice Field - Glacier Skywalk - Mount Robson - Sun Peaks

The highlight of the day will be travelling to the million year-old Columbia Icefields and getting atop the Glacier Skywalk. This stunning glass walkway juts out 35 feet from the side of a cliff and hangs at a breathtaking 280 meters above the Sunwapta Canyon. Birds fly beneath and towering mountains loom over the brilliant views of the valley below. In the afternoon on our way back west towards the Sun Peaks resorts, we will brief in Mount Robson—highest peak in the Canadian Rockies region. Depending on the time of year, you may be able to catch one of the many mountain bike run competitions that the region is famous for.

Standard Hotel (2 star to 3 star): Coast Sundance Lodge or similar

Day 6 : Sun Peaks - Vancouver - Hometown

On our final day of the trip together we work our way back to Vancouver by way of the Lulu Island Winery. This Winery is known throughout the world for its famous Canadian Ice Wine—a notable souvenir for your trip through western Canada. After a final lunch in Vancouver, the time has come to say goodbye. We will provide transfer service to Vancouver International Airport. We hoped you enjoy your stay in Canada.
