Day 1 : San Francisco - Sacramento - Elko

Depart from San Francisco for the Great Basin Dessert and stay on Interstate 80. Stop by the California State Capitol in Sacramento. Pass Reno and arrive Elko Nevada.

Day 2 : Elko - Salt Lake City - Yellowstone National Park

Visit the Salt Lake City where the Utah State Capitol stands. And the water contains 7 times salt concentration than seawater. Then enter Yellowstone National Park - this ancient volcanic plateau. We will see the famous West Thumb Geyser Basin and the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring, which is the nation's largest and third largest spring in the world. You will also have the opportunity to visit the marvelous Fountain Paint Pot. We will end the first day of the Yellowstone trip after enjoying the incredible geological wonders.

Day 3 : Yellowstone National Park

Spend a full day in Yellowstone, the nation's largest wildlife reserves. Witness the world famous Old Faithful, stunning Yellowstone Falls, boundless Yellowstone Lake, Mammoth Hot Springs colorful oriole spring and much more! You will be amazed by Fishing Bridge, Mud Volcano, Brink of Upper and Lower Falls and the most popular Mammoth Hot Springs.

Day 4 : Yellowstone National Park - Grand Teton National Park - Salt Lake City

We will continue visiting Yellowstone National Park where you will see the most astonishing attractions in the world. Spectacular Yellowstone Canyon Falls, Mysterious volcano forest and much more! 2 nights stay at Yellowstone, along the Snake River Look Out, you have enough time to picnic in the beautiful national park, walking, photography and intimate contact with nature. Then head to the magnificent mountain valley of Grand Teton, located at the west of Wyoming, enjoys the title of "the most beautiful National Park". You will witness Jackson Lake and enjoying boating in the Jenny Lake. Then back to Salt Lake City, and stay overnight in there.

Day 5 : Salt Lake City - Las Vegas

Visit the shopping outlet on the way to Las Vegas, and arrive Las Vegas in the late afternoon. The famous strip offers exciting venues with top performances, extravagant shopping and some of the finest dining in the world. You may join an optional night tour and see a breathtaking show, as well as experiencing world-class casinos and the sleepless strip with dazzling neon lights. Overnight in Las Vegas.

Day 6 : Las Vegas - Hoover Dam - Grand Canyon National Park - Las Vegas

Visit Hoover Dam. See the natural wonder of the world, the Grand Canyon South Rim. You will be stunned by the beauty and grandeur of this magnificent and awe inspiring canyon. Or you may choose to visit the West Canyon with Skywalk for an additional fee. The West Rim is closer to Las Vegas and the new Skywalk is only available there. The South Rim has a broader view that is more grand but the distance is further away. Return to Las Vegas .

Grand Canyon South Rim: Approximately 4.5 hours of driving from Las Vegas will take you to the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. See the canyon from the South Rim with its dramatic views into the deep inner gorge of the Colorado River. You can take time to explore the Grand Canyon at your own pace. Due to time constraint for the driver, we will stay at the site for 1.5 hours, and then return and arrive at Las Vegas at about 8 pm.

Grand Canyon West (Skywalk): Approximately 3.5-hour drive from Las Vegas allows for us to stay and visit for 3 to 4 hours. From the unobstructed views on the bus tour, you may take photos of the canyon’s uniqueness. Skywalk, located at the far western end of Grand Canyon, is managed by the Hualapai Tribe. On Skywalk, you can enjoy the magnificent view from 4000 feet above, standing upon a horseshoe-shaped steel frame with a glass bottom. Rocks that date back 1.8 billion years line the bottom of the canyon. You may also board helicopters for canyon flyovers and descend and land 3500 feet into the Hualapai Indian Territory within the Grand Canyon. We then will return to Las Vegas at about 6 pm.

Trip Reservation Process:

All tours are open for early booking. It is recommended that customers should book tour at least two weeks before departure date. Bus seats will be pre-assigned after payment is made based on a first come first served basis. The following flowchart summarized the booking process.




  1. After you submitting your reservation online, you will receive a Pre-Order email within a couple of hours.
  2. Within 2 business days, we will send you a confirmation email to confirm your reservation of the trip. In this email, you could find the detailed boarding time and location of the trip, contact information of local service provider. Please print out this email with E-TICKET number as the boarding pass for the trip. Also, you can login to our website http://www.tripedition.com/index.php?route=account/login to check the status of your order.
  3. At the departure date, simply print out the E-TICKET if you have not already done so, and present it with your valid photo ID. Please note that this E-TICKET is the only proof of your purchase of the tour.
  4. Please make sure you have received our Final Confirmation Letter email with your E-ticket number before booking air tickets, extended hotel stays and etc., if applicable.



Your reservation is always subject to confirmation by email normally within two business days. Promotional offers such as BUY 2 GET 1 FREE and BUY 2 GET 2 FREE are provided and confirmed only on an availability basis. In the rare events (such as booking ONE day prior to the departure day), your reservation can not be confirmed by the service provider, a full refund will be credited back to your account.

The order of day-to-day itinerary is adjustable depending on tour start date of the week. For the detailed arrangement, please email or call the local service provider prior to departure date to re-confirm. Their contact info will be listed in your final confirmation email.

We reserve the right to change the hotel to another of equal or better standard than the hotel mentioned in the itineraries.

Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours may be combined to ensure fewer passengers operation.

We do not recommend infants younger than 2 years of age to join the tours, since our tour guides are not specially trained to provide service to these types of passengers and cannot be responsible for their well being.



Boarding Tips and Travel Documents:

All passengers should arrive at the boarding location at LEAST 15 min. prior to the departure time.

All passengers must show E-TICKET (the boarding pass) for boarding.

Passengers are held solely responsible for their own valid travel documents



Travel Insurance:

We are not responsible for any occur on or during the tour. It is optional that passengers to purchase travel insurance. By accepting our policy, passenger should agree that we shall hold no responsibilities includes but not limited to the following unforeseeable events such as weather, accident, bus break down, sickness, theft, itinerary changes, delays or cancellation. We are strongly advising you to purchase travel insurance before departure to insure compensations for the unexpected causes above. Such travel insurance can be purchased through third party insurance suppliers.




All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour guides and/or drivers guide. For driver guide tour, the language will be limited to English/Chinese.




Frequently Asked Questions

Will the bus wait for me if I’m late?

Sorry. Tour buses will depart on time. Please be understandable this is a group tour, we have to satisfy the entire group for a smooth operation of the tour. We recommend you arrive at the departure location 15-30 minutes prior the depart time.

Is the drop-off location the same as boarding location for all Tripedition tours?

The tours usually pick-up and drop-off at the same locations unless otherwise stated in the tour Departure and Return Info page.

What happens if I forgot to bring proper travel documents on the boarding day (Passport, Green card, Visa, etc.)?

You can NOT board the bus. The tour guide shall check anyone's proper travel documents prior boarding. Bear in mind, when you can NOT board for this reason, this also triggers the reschedule fee or cancellation penalty. Please refer to the Special Notes section of your booked tour for proper travel documents.

How many pieces of baggage am I allowed to bring?

We recommend two pieces of standard sized baggage per passenger due to the load limitation of the motorcoach. If the tour is operated by 14 seats minibus, only ONE piece per passenger is allowed.

Is there a restroom on the bus?

Yes, only for motorcoach buses. However, we recommend the use of lavatory when there is a personal emergency. All our local service providers, try to maintain a clean environment on the bus, therefore, the bus will make rest stops along the way (every 2-3 hours) at highway service area. If you need to use the lavatory on the way, you may ask the tour guide to open it for your use.

What can we do if we choose not to go on the optional activities?

Optional activities are booked through the tour guide while you are on the tour. If you do not wish to participate in certain tour activities, you can hang around the tourist attraction as you like to. The tour guide will inform guests on the return time to the tour bus before he/she dismisses the group.

We are vegetarians, should I join the tour?

Definitely Yes. Meal breaks will be arranged at hotels, various ethnic restaurants, food courts, and fast food restaurants. There should be vegetarian food for you to choose from the menus.
