Day 1 : Boston - New York City (Night Tour)

Our tour departs from Boston Chinatown to New York City, the most populous city in the United States and the largest city since 1790. You will have the opportunity to explore the wonder of New York City at nighttime with our night tour (optional). This exciting tour will take you through many notable areas. Starting at South Street Seaport, take in romantic views of the City's bridges and skylines flanked by traditional sailing ships and historical buildings. The tour then proceeds to Midtown Manhattan, the City's central business district. We will visit Rockefeller Center, a complex that houses the magnificent Ice Skating Rink (in winter), the Gilded Statute of Prometheus, and the GE Building, headquarters of NBC Studios. We will also see Fifth Avenue, a strip of luxury shops and businesses that is consistently ranked as the "most expensive street in the world". Finally, we will visit Times Square, an iconic world landmark. At night, the brilliantly lit theaters of Broadway and the huge number of animated neon and LED signs shines brighter than even the stars in the sky.

Day 2 : New York City Tour

Your adventure begins in the historic Chinatown, our tour will take you to Wall Street, the financial heart of the city and home of the New York Stock Exchange. Is it a bearish or a bullish season? With hopes for a good economy, we’ll visit the Wall Street Bull, a 7100 lbs bronze sculpture that stands as the symbol of financial prosperity. From there we will make our way to the hallowed Ground Zero and pay homage to the victims of the September 11 attacks. You’ll also be able to see the reconstruction efforts of the area in the Freedom Tower which will be a 104 story tower when it is finished. Our tour will then take you on the Statue of Liberty Cruise where we will catch a glimpse of New York’s expansive cityscape and the Statue of Liberty—a landmark synonymous with opportunity and liberty. It’s over to the U.S.S Intrepid, a former World War II aircraft carrier now turned into the Intrepid Sea, Air, & Space Museum. Once on land we’ll see some of the famous buildings in New York in the United Nations building, the Empire State building and the Rockefeller Center. Continuing on you’ll partake of New York’s rich cultural and artistic scene when we visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art. To close our day we will visit Times Square and the Broadway Theater District. Enjoy the lights and energy of the “Crossroads of the World” in one of the most visited attractions on the earth.

Day 3 : Philadelphia - Washington DC.

On the third day of our tour, you’ll get to visit some of the most influential sites in United States history. In Philadelphia you’ll get to visit Independence Hall, so named because it was here the Declaration of Independence was born. It was also at this site that George Washington became commander in chief of the continental army. At this site rests Liberty Bell, a symbol of freedom in America since the days of the revolution. Next up we trek to the nation’s capital, Washington D.C. and some of its famous monuments. First we’ll take you to the Lincoln Memorial that houses a 20 foot seated statue of the 16th president and words from some of his famous speeches to the American people. Then you’ll get to go to the Jefferson Memorial—a tribute to the founding father and drafter of the Declaration of Independence. From here it’s on to the White House and the Capitol, the legislative and executive cores of the country. Following that, we’ll pay our respects to those that gave their lives for the cause of freedom at the Korean War Memorial and the Vietnam War Memorial.

Day 4 : Washington DC - Corning Glass Center - Niagara Falls

In the morning the bus tour will depart from Washington D.C. and travel to Corning, New York to visit the Corning Museum of Glass which is the largest glass museum in the world with more than 45,000 objects from over 3,500 years of glassmaking history. You will also see live, narrated glassmaking demonstrations. Afterwards the bus tour will take you to Niagara Falls. The Falls is collectively made from the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and the Canadian Horseshoe Falls and are famous for their beauty and as a valuable source of hydroelectric power. A historical boat ride aboard the world famous Maid of the Mist offers up close and exciting views of the Falls. Next we are going to visit the Whirlpool State Park, which is a 125-foot deep whirlpool under the Niagara River. If time is available we will go to the Old Fort Niagara, located at the mouth of the Niagara River. Be sure to catch the short guided tour that explains a lot in a short time. The fact that the old French Castle from 1726 is still standing today is amazing. The history and importance of this fort is a compelling reason to preserve it and the artifacts in the museum were spectacular. If you're a history buff or just like tours of this kind you have to see this. In the evening, we will join the Native Indian show, The Spirit of the Mist. The show presented by the World Class Native Spirit Dancers. Come together as they take you on a journey of beautiful dance, traditional music and stories passed through the generations. Experience a full sensory show through exciting music, captivating dancing, exceptional costumes and genuine native singing. The show captures audiences of all ages! If time permits, we will head to enjoy the colorful and wonderful Niagara Falls Illumination on the Goat Island.

Day 5 : Niagara Falls - Toronto

In the morning we will stop at the Niagara Falls IMAX Theater to experience the falls in a way you’ve never experienced before. You’ll be swept away by the stories of daredevilry in “The Falls Movie: Legends of adventure.” Wrapping up our visit to Niagara Falls, you need to treat yourself to a panoramic view of the region from the Skylon Tower. Next we head to Toronto, Canada—one of the largest cities in Canada. From the heights of the CN Tower, you’ll be able to look out across the city and Lake Ontario. We’ll take you through the Rogers Centre, home of the Toronto Blue Jays, and to the beautiful architecture of City Hall. Drink in the cityscape as we take you on a cruise of Toronto Harbor.

Day 6 : 1000 Islands - Ottawa - Montreal

Day six of our tour takes you to the Thousand Island region of the St. Lawrence River. A beautiful archipelago of more than 1800 islands, the site is famous for its once pirate infested waters, and the beautiful castles set on its enchanting islands. You’ll “ooo” and “ahhh” over the islands as we sail aboard the Thousand Islands boat ride. From there we head to the capital of Canada, Ottawa where you will tour Parliament Hill, Embassy Row (home to many foreign ambassadors), the Centennial Flame, and the Rideau Canal. From there we next travel to Montreal, the second largest city in Canada and home to one of the largest populations of French speakers outside of France. Consistently rated one of the world’s most livable cities, our tour takes you through Old Montreal—a part of the city that dates back to the days of New France in 1605. Next we visit the Saint Joseph’s Oratory of Mount Royal a basilica and national shrine. As the largest shrine dedicated to Saint Joseph, you will be able to partake of some of the rich musical and cultural tradition of the city. Montreal played host to the 1976 Summer Olympics and you will have the opportunity to visit the Olympic Stadium and Tower.

Day 7 : Quebec City - Boston

The next leg of our journey takes us to Quebec City where you will be able to enjoy the charm of the city from the Chateau Frontenac. Built in the beautiful chateau style, the building overlooks the St. Lawrence River. We will also visit the Old Port of Quebec which in the 19th century was one of the most important ports in the world, playing a major part in the development of Canada. La Citadelle is our next stop atop the Plains of Abraham. Once part of the fortifications of the city, the historic site is now designated as a World Heritage Site. From here we will then spend the rest of the day travelling to back to Boston.

Day 8 : Boston City Tour (half day)

The last day of our Boston bus tour will be spent exploring Boston and what the city has to offer. First our tour will take you to Cambridge, home to two of the most prestigious institutions of higher education ----- Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Harvard, which celebrated its 375th anniversary in 2011, is one of the oldest universities in the United States. MIT is well known as an scientific institution, that pushes the boundaries of technology in the 21st century. Follow the freedom trail, a red brick trail that leads to 16 historical sites in the city including Paul Revere’s home and the Massachusetts State House. Try authentic New England Cuisine at Quincy Market, a sprawling hub of a market set in a cobblestone promenade. Our tour will conclude with a cruise of Boston Harbor, and then dismiss in Boston.

**Note: The "Maid of the Mist" is only available from May to Oct. Any other time, it will be substituted by Niagara Jet Boat Tour in its operation season.

**Note: Due to traffic condition, we will either visit Madame Tussauds Wax Museum at New York Times Square or the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum at DC.

**Note: The Thousand Islands Scenic Boat Ride is seasonal and is only available from April to October. For winter season, this activity will be substituted with additional sightseeing opportunities.

**Note: Winter season, we will NOT visit Quebec city.

Price for Double/Triple/Quadruple Occupancy applies when two/three/four people stay in one standard hotel room respectively. Thus, result in a lower per person price.

Maximum 4 guests in each hotel room (incl. kid and infant). Each standard hotel room comes with TWO full sizes or ONE queen size bed. Triple/Quadruple price does not guarantee a third/fourth bed in the room since each room is equipped with 2 beds. Roll-a-ways beds are regulations of each hotel; you are responsible for paying the additional cost for roll-a-way bed. Please check the availability at the time of check-in.

Trip Reservation Process:

All tours are open for early booking. It is recommended that customers should book tour at least two weeks before departure date. Bus seats will be pre-assigned after payment is made based on a first come first served basis. The following flowchart summarized the booking process.




  1. After you submitting your reservation online, you will receive a Pre-Order email within a couple of hours.
  2. Within 2 business days, we will send you a confirmation email to confirm your reservation of the trip. In this email, you could find the detailed boarding time and location of the trip, contact information of local service provider. Please print out this email with E-TICKET number as the boarding pass for the trip. Also, you can login to our website http://www.tripedition.com/index.php?route=account/login to check the status of your order.
  3. At the departure date, simply print out the E-TICKET if you have not already done so, and present it with your valid photo ID. Please note that this E-TICKET is the only proof of your purchase of the tour.
  4. Please make sure you have received our Final Confirmation Letter email with your E-ticket number before booking air tickets, extended hotel stays and etc., if applicable.



Your reservation is always subject to confirmation by email normally within two business days. Promotional offers such as BUY 2 GET 1 FREE and BUY 2 GET 2 FREE are provided and confirmed only on an availability basis. In the rare events (such as booking ONE day prior to the departure day), your reservation can not be confirmed by the service provider, a full refund will be credited back to your account.

The order of day-to-day itinerary is adjustable depending on tour start date of the week. For the detailed arrangement, please email or call the local service provider prior to departure date to re-confirm. Their contact info will be listed in your final confirmation email.

We reserve the right to change the hotel to another of equal or better standard than the hotel mentioned in the itineraries.

Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours may be combined to ensure fewer passengers operation.

We do not recommend infants younger than 2 years of age to join the tours, since our tour guides are not specially trained to provide service to these types of passengers and cannot be responsible for their well being.



Boarding Tips and Travel Documents:

All passengers should arrive at the boarding location at LEAST 15 min. prior to the departure time.

All passengers must show E-TICKET (the boarding pass) for boarding.

Passengers are held solely responsible for their own valid travel documents. (Valid visa for countries needed). Absolutely NO boarding without proper travel documents. All US citizens traveling to Canada will need a passport. Permanent resident requires present of green card. Additional visa requirements and exemptions for visitors to Canada please visit http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp.



  1. Canadian visa is not required for U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident. However, please bring your Photo I.D and proof of citizenship (U.S. birth certificate or naturalization certificate), or green card for re-entry to the United States. A passport for US citizens is highly recommended. Children, ages 18 and under only require a birth certificate.
  2. If you are NOT an American citizen, please bring your passport, I-94 card, I-20 form for international student. Due to increased security at the border, additional paperwork is required for visitors from some countries. This only applies to a very few countries. Please check with the local immigration office to ensure whether your status allows multiple-entry into the U.S. This will avoid unnecessary delays. Should any person be detained upon re-entry to the U.S., we will be unable to wait while the additional paperwork is filed. Additional charges may apply for transportation.
  3. Countries and territories whose citizens require visas in order to enter Canada as visitors, please check the following link for updates on entry requirements: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp. Some nationalities may need multiple entry visa's to the U.S.A. and a Canadian visa.

We are not responsible for any occur on or during the tour. It is optional that passengers to purchase travel insurance. By accepting our policy, passenger should agree that we shall hold no responsibilities includes but not limited to the following unforeseeable events such as weather, accident, bus break down, sickness, theft, itinerary changes, delays or cancellation. We are strongly advising you to purchase travel insurance before departure to insure compensations for the unexpected causes above. Such travel insurance can be purchased through third party insurance suppliers.




All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour guides and/or drivers guide. For driver guide tour, the language will be limited to English/Chinese.




Frequently Asked Questions

Will the bus wait for me if I’m late?

Sorry. Tour buses will depart on time. Please be understandable this is a group tour, we have to satisfy the entire group for a smooth operation of the tour. We recommend you arrive at the departure location 15-30 minutes prior the depart time.

Is the drop-off location the same as boarding location for all Tripedition tours?

The tours usually pick-up and drop-off at the same locations unless otherwise stated in the tour Departure and Return Info page.

What happens if I forgot to bring proper travel documents on the boarding day (Passport, Green card, Visa, etc.)?

You can NOT board the bus. The tour guide shall check anyone's proper travel documents prior boarding. Bear in mind, when you can NOT board for this reason, this also triggers the reschedule fee or cancellation penalty. Please refer to the Special Notes section of your booked tour for proper travel documents.

How many pieces of baggage am I allowed to bring?

We recommend two pieces of standard sized baggage per passenger due to the load limitation of the motorcoach. If the tour is operated by 14 seats minibus, only ONE piece per passenger is allowed.

Is there a restroom on the bus?

Yes, only for motorcoach buses. However, we recommend the use of lavatory when there is a personal emergency. All our local service providers, try to maintain a clean environment on the bus, therefore, the bus will make rest stops along the way (every 2-3 hours) at highway service area. If you need to use the lavatory on the way, you may ask the tour guide to open it for your use.

What can we do if we choose not to go on the optional activities?

Optional activities are booked through the tour guide while you are on the tour. If you do not wish to participate in certain tour activities, you can hang around the tourist attraction as you like to. The tour guide will inform guests on the return time to the tour bus before he/she dismisses the group.

We are vegetarians, should I join the tour?

Definitely Yes. Meal breaks will be arranged at hotels, various ethnic restaurants, food courts, and fast food restaurants. There should be vegetarian food for you to choose from the menus.
